Policies, Terms & Conditions
Our mission is to ensure that your stay with us is nothing short of exceptional. To maintain a warm and welcoming environment for all our visitors, we have outlined some rules.
 
These policies, terms, and conditions are not only designed to uphold the integrity of the space but,
more importantly, to prioritize your safety and comfort throughout your stay.
 
By adhering to these rules, you can relax and enjoy your time with peace of mind, knowing that we're committed to providing you with a memorable and delightful experience.

Guest Rules
 
Check-in anytime after 4 PM
Check-out by 11 AM

General Rules:
  • No pets.

  • No loud parties.

  • No smoking inside.

  • Nonprescription drugs are prohibited.

  • Registered guests only (no visitors are allowed).

  • Access to the loft in The Dome is not recommended for children under the age of 6.

  • Firearms of any kind including fireworks, firecrackers, and other explosive items are prohibited at all times.

  • Wood stove usage requires a separate waiver. Please contact us at info@hazelhuts.com if you intend to use the wood stove.​

  • Fires must be contained within approved enclosures, such as a wood stove, fire pit, or grill. Flames should not exceed 2 feet in height, and fires must never be left unattended. Ensure all fires are fully extinguished before leaving or retiring for the night, using plenty of water to prevent reigniting. Be sure the ashes are cool to the touch. Under no circumstances should garbage or plastic be burned.

Note: The well provides drinkable water, however, we are close to natural hot springs. You may smell some sulfur while running the water. Feel free to drink purified water from the jug on the countertop.

Farm Safety Rules:

  • Please respect nature at all times and be aware of your surroundings. Stay on the walking paths.

  • Please do not climb any fences while exploring the farm.

  • Walk and drive on the property at your own risk.

  • Beware of farm vehicles and machinery.

  • Beware of farm animals. When visiting animals (if present, depending on the season), please beware of the electric fence and approach calmly.

  • Children must be supervised at all times.

  • Swim at your own risk. No unattended children are allowed near the water.

  • Please do not leave any trash on the farm.

  • Please do not toss cigarettes on the ground. Make sure they are fully extinguished before disposing of them.

  • No motorized vehicles are allowed beyond the gravel road.

In case of an emergency, call 911. A fire extinguisher can be found under the smoke & carbon monoxide detector on the left side of the front door inside the Dome. The first-aid kit is located in the kitchen drawer inside the Dome.

Payments, Refunds & Cancellation

 

  • Full payment is due at the time of reservation. 

  • To receive a full refund, guests must cancel 30 days before the booking date.

  • Less than 30 days but greater than 14 days before the booking date, guests are entitled to a 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made 14 days or less before the booking date are non-refundable.

  • HazelHuts reserves the right to cancel any bookings at any time, for any reason. Guests will be notified and will receive a full refund.

  • All cancellations must be made in writing. We do not accept late cancellations or changes due to cold or inclement weather​.

Liability

 

HazelHuts and partnering farms are not liable for any injuries incurred while on site, including for the use of the ladder accessing the loft. HazelHuts and partnering farms are not liable for lost, stolen, damaged, or missing pieces of personal property while on site, including luggage, clothes, jewelry, vehicles, electronics, etc.

 

 

Damage

Kindly inform us of any damages occurring during your stay for immediate resolution. A charge may apply to your credit card for the following circumstances:

​

  • Broken or missing items

  • The site is left in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning 

  • Signs of indoor smoking
